This creature is a design for a giant, Irish, mythological worm. I felt that conveying a worm as “scary” was counter to the nature of the real animal, so I wanted to give it a “creepy” feel. By giving it a large vaginal type mouth with hundreds of human hands running along its underside, the creature eats by engulfing its victims in is belly arms. Hundreds of hand grasping and holding, slowing moving its prey up along its underside. Finally, its food reaches its head and is forced into its mouth, swallowed whole and still alive.
