Impulsive by nature, Nike is one of the youngest of the gods. Tempered by the stoic demeanor of her mistress Athena, Nike
possesses a battle instinct belying her age; rather than rushing into combat, Nike takes up a supportive role in military
engagements, assisting Athena from above. The sight of Nike on the battlefield was taken as an omen of assured victory, for
where her herald went, Athena was soon to follow.
Though small in stature, Nike's training under Athena has taught her to turn her disadvantages into advantages on the
battlefield; though physically weak, Nike is extremely nimble and quick. Though she carries no true weapons into battle, if
pressed she can use her chalice and incense burner as makeshift bludgeons, and her wings are capable of breaking even
the bones of a god.
Dressing herself in emulation of her mistress, Nike wears a dress and breastplate similar to Athena's, but ornaments
herself only with the symbol of the olive branch. The sight of Nike soaring overhead has lifted the heart of many a
warrior, and sent many another screaming to the grave.
