The gentle fury of a storm, the graceful herald of Poseidon, Pegasus is much more than a horse who flies. This elegant steed
is a being of pure magic, a manifestation of the storming seas. Unwilling to take bit or bridle, all those who tried to master
Pegasus discovered that it was a task very difficult indeed.
On the battlefield, Pegasus wheels around the skies, bringing forth storms and powerful winds with the beating of its four
wings. Though in the flesh of an animal, this creature carries within it unimaginable magical strength, guided by a mind wiser
than most men. Many view its arrival as both a good omen and bad. For those who serve the will of its creator, Pegasus' appearance
tells of fortune on the seas. For those who defy the god of the sea however, the sight of this winged creature is nearly an
assurance of death.
Pegasus has a crest of feathers along its neck, flocked at its hooves, and a long elegant feathered tail. Not only stunning
to behold, these feathers help Pegasus in flight, lending agility and grace in the air. Two large, powerful wings sprout forth
from Pegasus' shoulders. These two provide the strength to lift it into the air, among the wind currents, where Pegasus spreads
all of its wings, and the smaller two allowing the creature to glide incredible distance in the rivers of wind, without wasting
its strength. All four can also be used to strike ahead, and carry enough gale force to give even a god pause when staring
into its eyes.
