This character was a reinterpretation of a previously existing character from White Wolf’s Scion series of books. The character was described as an outcast from the Japanese pantheon who traveled the human world alone. The art director wanted this version of the character to be carrying a spear, so I designed the tip to be the kanji for “wanderer”.
