Benevolent of nature but fierce in battle, Triton is the half-man, half-fish prince of the sea. He is a valued lieutenant in the service of his lord, Poseidon, and he can often be found by his master's side. Like Poseidon, Triton carries a trident, though his is a trident of water that he can conjure at his whim. A liquid halo can be seen about Triton's head; this is the crown of his office.

Although his trident is fierce, Triton's most powerful weapon is the conch shell he wears on a sling across his chest. With this simple horn Triton can command massive tidal waves and great typhoons to crush the armies of man or god.

Triton's upper body resembles that of an extremely muscular man with little to no body fat. His lower half is segmented and bony, with many great fins radiating out from his dorsal, ventral, and pectoral regions to provide powerful thrust in the water. On land Triton moves awkwardly and with some difficulty, but in water his skill and speed are unmatched.
